Because they don't teach you this in school…

About to head to Dallas for DBWa 2023! I figured it was time to do a good inventory of my backpack and fill in any gaps. Here is what I have in my road warrior kit – please note that none of this is an ad for these products… although I am probably a fan if I have it.

– Not pictured – eBags Pro Slim backpack in gray. Love this bag. Had it for YEARS.
– Dell Precision 5750
– Dell C1422H portable monitor – love having this
– iPad Pro Gen1 12.9 inch with Paperlike screen protector – battery is starting to show its age, but it still gets the job done great – that job being reading comics and drawing
– Apple Pencil
– ThinOptics readers
– Couple packs of Lactaid (critical equipment)
– Half pack of gum
– 1/8 pack of Rolaids
– Hand sanitizer
– Mask leftover from pandemic travel
– Microfiber cloth
– Sharpie, a couple of Autodesk pens I snagged at a conference (one with a nice ruler on it), super worn-out brush pen, another random pen that happens to have purple ink
– 2 flash drives (someone always needs to “borrow” one on the road)
– Car lighter to USB power adapter (are they called “lighters” anymore?)
– AirPod ear tip things
– A couple CADD tattoos (nobody at the company can remember where these came from. I am definitely hanging onto these)
– Business cards
– Lightning cable with USB data blockers
– Lightning cable headphones
– Logitech M557 cute little portable mouse
– USB-A to USB-C charger
– USB-C to Lightning charger (that old iPad needs something beefy to power it)
– Laptop power with little orange zipper bag
– mostly used notepad
– Unravel 3-in-1 foldable travel charger with UCOMX travel case – iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods Pro charge at once and the case fits it like a glove
– Bagsmart travel case with:
– 4-port travel USB charger
– Kodak mini-printer – do I use this a lot? No. Do I love having a tiny printer? Yes.
– Anker USB-C Nano Pro charger
– Anker 4-in-1 USB-C hub
– USB network adapter
– USB-C cord
– USB-A to USB-B micro cord
