Because they don't teach you this in school…

It was a great time last week at my first IHEEP conference. Had some wonderful conversations with attendees and spent some quality time with the team.

I didn’t get to many sessions, but the ones I attended highlighted the same themes we see everywhere:

💿 Figure out the data you need (don’t ask for “everything”)
❓ Make sure you ask everyone (because you don’t want to do this again)
🛒 Identify how you want to collect it and where it should go (standards!)
☑️ Find ways to validate (automatically, or it won’t get done)

And while there was a lot more talk about point clouds than I am used to, consistency, reliability, and trust are the keys to setting your teams up for success in an AI and Data-heavy future.

Also, thumbs up to any conference with pecan pie!
